Before proceeding to uninstall your driver, review the reasons for uninstalling listed below. In addition to the information beneath, the Installation_Readme.txt that came with your driver download contains more than detailed instructions for uninstalling your Intel® Graphics Commuter.

Reasons for uninstalling an Intel® Graphics Driver

Uninstalling the Intel Graphics Commuter via the Device Manager Method

For a quick review of the steps outlined in the video, read the points beneath.

1. Open up the Device Manager using the steps provided for your operating system:
   • Windows 7*: Click Beginning Run, type: devmgmt.msc
   • Windows eight.1*, Windows® 10, and Windows xi*: Press the Windows fundamental and the X key together, select Device Manager.
2. Aggrandize the Display Adapters section.
3. Discover the Intel Graphics Driver. The driver tin too be called the Intel® Graphics Media Accelerator Driver (Intel® GMA Driver).
4. Right-click theIntel Graphics Driver and select Uninstall.
5. Select the check box Delete the driver software for this device.
6. The system must go through a restart to complete the uninstall procedure.
7. If no older drivers are stored in the system, the graphics controller in device manager should now be listed as 'Microsoft Basic Display Adapter', 'Standard VGA Graphics Adapter' or similar. If non, repeat steps 1 through 6.

Uninstalling the Intel® Display Audio Driver or the Intel® HDMI Audio Driver via the Device Director Method

1. Open the Device Managing director, using the steps provided for your operating system.
   • Windows 7*: Click Start, at the run prompt type: devmgmt.msc
   • Windows 8.1*, Windows® 10, and Windows 11*: Printing the Windows key and the X key together, select Device Manager.
2. Aggrandize the Sound, video and game controllers section.
3. Find and right-click Intel Display Audio or Intel HDMI Display Audio.
4. Select Uninstall.
5. After the uninstall process finishes, restart the reckoner.
