I will soon have a decent amount of nn,DMT and I was wondering if I should go out and buy a meth pipe. lol. I've seen and made comments about them in certain stores nearby. Should I go buy one of these now?

personal favorite way is so sandwich it lightly in a bong with some kind of herb, my favorite is mullien.
oil burners never really did it for me, the rip doesnt build up, it's not that big, and it's hot that way.

for anyone who didnt feel like reading that:

take some extremely coarse steel wool (like what you'd use to scrub a pan)
roll it into a "plug" and plug the neck of a bottle similar to a "single-serving Hennessy bottle"

drill or break a small hole in the bottom of the bottle

place 1-2 doses on the steel wool and gently heat the NECK of the bottle (not the DMT) until the DMT melts into the steel wool

turn bottle upside down, gently heat the DMT laced steel wool with a ligher, while slowly inhaling through the hole you made in the bottom of the bottle. Rotate the bottle as you do this.
(make sure you do not overheat the steelwool. you do not want it to light on fire).

I honestly think i would rather use a meth pipe.

Mr. Kush, Why wouldnt the rips be big enough.

I was planning on putting about 50mg into the oilburner/methpipe, lighting it with my thumb over the inhale hole and waiting until it gets completely vaporized. then taking a huge rip and blasting off.

If it's convenient and affordable, purchase that sucker. It's always great to have a hand-held vaporizer when certain substances make their appearances. :rasta:

I've had good luck roasting lightly on top of a bowl of weed. Might be a waste but then again I've never been conservative with the DMT! :amazed:

I use a freebase / ice / meth pipe & it works fine.

Just dump in a good amount. Light it lightly until the spice smoke is rolling then hit it but remember to keep the heat / flame on it lightly throughout the whole process to avoid burning up & wasting the spice.

If you don't get through it all on that hit, it'll solidify & you'll get it on the next so there's no real waste. Other than if you burn it, then it tastes like shit the 2nd time round..

I built "The Machine" but I'm not sure I used it properly. I used the Hennesey bottle just like the article said, and I used coarse steel wool. I couldn't get the steel wool hot enough to vaporize the DMT so I moved the lighter closer little by little. Nothing at all happened until I got the lighter right up next to the neck of the bottle and then the steel wool started glowing red and it felt like I just got stabbed in the throat. I got a small hit of the DMT but I don't understand this pipe, nor do I undersrtand why people say its so smooth and nice. I still have it, so if anyone can clue me in to what I did wrong, I'd sure like to be able to use this right. Ive never smoke meth and I've never smoked crack in a stem or through steel wool, just on ashes in a regular pipe, the way I smoke my DMT. I have no experience smoking anything through steel wool and I was wondering if its OK if the steel wool glows red. Ouchy ouch. For anyone who decides to build "The Machine", get a 3/16 glass/tile drill bit and mist the bottom of the Hennesey bottle so it doesn't crack. Makes a nice hole.

I got a small hit of the DMT but I don't understand this pipe, nor do I undersrtand why people say its so smooth and nice. I still have it, so if anyone can clue me in to what I did wrong, I'd sure like to be able to use this right.

Perhaps your steel wool was not course enough or tightly packed enough? Did you use a butane lighter or regular bic-style?

I don't understand this whole "harsh smoke" and "plastic taste"...

For me it's a case of a bong or bubbler, bit of ash on the pipe screen then dmt on top..

The key of course is to vapourise the spice not burn, thats achieved by practice i spose but it really is very simple.

No bad taste, slightly sulphorus i would say and a very smooth vapour indeed...

Always hold the flame furthur away than you would think needed...Seems too melt almost instantly, like honey oil.

Out of interest, does anyone know the exact vapourisation/boiling point of DMT?

And the temperature of a regular lighter flame?

There are a lot of factors in the temperature of a flame, such as if the air flow is laminar or turbulent, the fuel source, and the stoichiometry involved in the reaction, (i.e. if there is the perfect amount of air needed to combust, the flame will be hotter). Generally, a bic lighter flame is about 3500 degrees Fahrenheit, while a bolt of lightning is about 54,000 F..

Obviously DMT freebase vaporizes at a much much lower temperature than that, lol but i'm not sure exactly. I have heard reports that it vaporizes anywhere between 800-850 Fahrenheit, at normal air pressure. At lower air pressure this will go down, and of course go up in higher air pressure.

You'll want to slowly draw on the pipe while lighting it as the vapor needs to mix with air or it will just burn and get harsh as fuck and make your hit very unpleasant.

With a tiny bit of airflow you can watch loads of vapor build up. If lighting it with no airflow through you won't see any vapor and the DMT will turn to a hot ass oil, burn, and most likely be destroyed before you get a hit.

definitely dont put ur finger over that hole. it needs that air flow. light it til you see a some vapors then "slowly" hit the pipe. meth pipes IMO are the best... hands down.

ps. dont touch the lighter to the glass, as you will burn the dmt that way.

The sandwich method seems to be by far the easiest way, but it will totally ruin a bowl that you use frequently to do that forever.

In my book, that is not a ruined pipe. That is a CHRISTENED pipe, lol.
But really, have a pipe especially for your spice. Unless you want to randomly dose ur friends, and yourself.

theres your choices, crank pipe or crack pipe. i'd stick with the crank pipe idea. just seems so much cleaner to me, no need to smoke it through a metal brillo pad mess.

Id suggest smoking spice on top of some herb.Its a much more pleasant ride that smoking it out of a machine/crack pipe.As stated above be aware that smoking spice out of your favorite MJ bowl is kinda a bad idea.The spice taste and even some effect from the spice will be still in there.I remember packing a bowl of MJ the day after i smoked some spice in the bowl and got sucked down the rabbit hole on accident.If you do smoke the spice out of your MJ bowl then you will want to clean it thoroughly and even sometimes that doesn't even help.
